PRODUCTION
Our modern manufacturing facility houses some of the most sophisticated state-of-the-art confectionery equipment in the world. We seamlessly combine a wealth of experience with original recipes to produce a wide variety of confections including Toffees, Caramels, Hard Candies, Lollypops, Crunches, Filled Candies, Nougats, Panned Candies and No Sugar Added candy. We use only the finest ingredients in our confections, such as real butter in our Butterscotch, cream in our Premium Toffees and fruit purée in our Filled Bonbons. We offer numerous packaging configurations in a range of sizes and weights from flexible pegtop, gusset and pillow packs to rigid chip board boxes, clear plastic tubs, jars and pails.
QUALITY ASSURANCE
Kerr quality control standards are second to none. In addition to our own rigorous internal standards, we comply with HACCP principles and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP's). We have our Natural Health Products (NHP) site license and have recently obtained our Safe Quality Foods (SQF) Level 2 certification. Consistent quality is always guaranteed at Kerr's. We conduct numerous quality control checks and balances including inline and end of line metal detection. Our facility is regularly audited by municipal, provincial and federal inspectors in addition to independent auditing companies. Our R&D wing is continually exploring opportunities to develop new products relevant to today's consumers trends.
