Let your Imagination Soar with these Beany Butterflies!

August 11, 2017

We’re letting our imaginations run wild today here at Kerr’s and are getting crafty with these sweet beany butterflies. Not only are they super simple to make, they’re also really fun to eat!

What you need:

  • Small sealable snack bags

  • Clothes pins

  • Pipe cleaners

  • Googly eyes

  • Decorative tape, markers, crayons (whatever you want to use to decorate your clothes pins)

  • Kerr's Jelly beans!

  • Decorate your clothes pins, adding the googly eyes to the top.

  • Fill snack bags 2/3 full with jelly beans – make sure to leave room to pinch in the middle.

  • Gather together the middle of the snack bags, then clip with clothes pin.

  • Cut pipe cleaners in half, then thread through the closed top of the clothes pin. Twist to secure, then bend the ends to create the perfect antennae.

Let the kids get creative and decorate their butterflies however their hearts desire! Once they’ve flown around for a while, sit back and enjoy your jelly beans!
